Children's Ministries

From a nursery for infants all the way to teenagers discussing current events, Hope Church seeks to provide for the care and nurture of our children as a part of the body of Christ. In the preschool and elementary years, the curriculum maintains a consistent focus on Bible stories accompanied by crafts and music. In the middle school and high school years there is a shift to looking at current topics from a biblical perspective and to an exploration of our faith tradition and those around us.

Nursery
Sundays, 9:40 a.m.
Ages birth through 36 months

Church School (September through May)

Ages 3 through Adult

Children in Worship (September through May)
This walk-out program for ages 4 years through 5th grade meets during the 11:00 a.m. worship service and lasts until 12:15 p.m. Ordinary time and space is transformed into sacred time and space so that children can experience and praise God by talking with, listening to, and hearing stories of God. This time helps the children bring those stories of the past and promises for the future into their present experience through the use of their five senses, as well as through meaning, memory, and wondering.

Parents and Children Together
Parents and Children Together is a group for those with pre-school age children to gather for play and fellowship. We gather on the first and third Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the Commons. See the church calendar on the Events/Calendar tab for schedule. Call the church office (392-7947) for more information.
